Transferring your files is a vital step in the printing process. That's why we've set up an FTP server to make file transfer as easy as possible. To obtain more information on FTP, please call 1-800-437-9244 or e-mail Bob Manwaring at bobm@springfieldprinting.com. For FTP file transfer: Step 1. Compress your file. For Mac users, the application Stuffit can be used to compress files. For PC, Winzip is a popular compression method. Step 2. Remove any special characters or spaces in your file names, native or compressed. Step 3. Launch your FTP client software. For Mac Users, use Fetch. If you do not have a Fetch installed on your computer, visit http://www.fetchsoftworks.com. For PC Users simply open Internet Explorer v5.0 or higher. Step 4. Establish a connection. The host name will be ftp.springfieldprinting.com. For PC users, type ftp.springfieldprinting.com in the address bar. You will be prompted for a user name and password. To obtain a username and password, please contact Bob Manwaring. Step 5. Simply drag your files onto our server. FTP TIP!
