Start by Communicating All Details - Quick turnarounds are possible when Springfield Printing has all the information about your project before production is scheduled to begin. For example, details such as total production quantity, delivery breakdowns and complete project specs should be confirmed as early as possible. That allows us to order paper and schedule equipment to ensure the most timely production possible. The more we know about your project, the more help we can provide for getting it produced as quickly as possible.

Proofing In Your House and Ours - The proofing process requires coordination between you and Springfield Printing. For your internal proofing process, distribute proofs to everyone who should see them and solicit feedback as soon as possible prior to sending us files. On our end, we need to know how many people should see proofs and how much time you will need before approving them.

Use a Single Point of Contact - Appointing a single person responsible for changes, proof approvals and other communication with Springfield will help the production process run as smoothly as possible. It will also help to have a conversation with us early in the planning process to establish best contact times and preferred communication methods (phone or email?), making the process even more efficient.

Consider Your Paper Selections - A tight paper market has made it difficult to quickly obtain some paper grades and sheet sizes. While Springfield Printing has regular access to a wide range of stocks and sheet sizes, some papers may require advance planning if they must come directly from the mill. By confirming your project specifications well in advance, we can check availability of your desired paper. Should we find a paper unavailable for delivery within your required production schedule, we will work with you to find the best available substitute.
