Complete Information Saves Time and Stress In today's information-rich, need-it-now society, time is perhaps more precious than ever. It's a fact of life: Any hiccup in your schedule will produce unwanted ripple effects, leaving you scrambling to catch up. At Springfield Printing, we believe that your print production experience should be an exception to that. In order for this process to go smoothly, however, we will need complete information about your project before production begins. While that will require some coordination on your part during the project planning stage, the benefits of a stress-free production process are well worth it. Here are a few pieces of information you'll want to gather:
Supply us with a hard copy – Whenever possible, supply us with an exact-sized physical prototype sample of the piece to be produced. This allows us to check for accurate folding and ensure that your files match your intended results. Any special instructions - such as the location of spot varnishes - should be clearly marked on this sample. Provide PMS color details – If your project includes any PMS colors, be sure to supply us with the number of the PMS color written on the hard copy. Communicate delivery instructions – The package handling capabilities of the end destination are an important yet frequently-forgotten detail to communicate to us. Be sure to include critical information such as quantity breakdowns, delivery destination addresses and as many details as possible. The Springfield Advantage |
